To the surprise of none but delight of all, Neil Patrick Harris will return to host the Tony Awards for a fourth time this year, the American Theater Wing announced today. Harris hosted the previous two ceremonies as well as the 2009 ceremony, and he’s charming and funny and game and everything you’d hope an awards-show host would be, adhering to the ostensible formality of the occasion while still acknowledging the inherent ridiculousness of it.
