After Dan Stevens famously demanded to be written off the popular BBC miniseries, we started hearing about other members of the Downton Abbey household venturing off the property. First The Hollywood Reporter has news that Sophie McShera (better known as the kitchen maid Daisy) is in talks to play a wicked stepsister in Disney’s live action version of Cinderella. She’ll join Lily James (who has also appeared on Downton as problematic Cousin Rose), Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden, and Holliday Grainger for the Kenneth Branagh-directed feature.

As for Cousin Matthew, Stevens has signed on to star in The Guest. Variety reports the indie is being directed by Adam Wingard and written by Simon Barrett and will have the newly svelte actor playing a man who’s “not the man he is letting on to be†after returning from a tour of duty. Sounds a little Don Draper-y, no?
