Song of Summer Watch: ‘Blurred Lines’ Has This in the Bag

For the eighth week in a row, Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines†is the No. 1 song in America. (It also passed Vulture’s one-person “Is this song playing on three radio stations simultaneously?†test last weekend.) Meanwhile, One Direction’s “Best Song Ever†kicked Miley Cyrus out of the No. 2 spot (it’s at No. 3 now) and Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky†is all the way down at No. 5. We should probably wait until August to declare a Song of Summer, but … yeah, “Blurred Lines†has this.
