The first teaser for Gravity was stunning and abstractly terrifying. The new, slightly longer one is equally gorgeous but slightly more acutely scary. What we can tell is George Clooney and Sandra Bullock are tasked with doing some spaceship stuff, but then a bunch of debris comes flying at them and Sandy finds herself tumbling through space. The whole thing is done in one extended take, a technique the director Alfonso Cuáron has said will be a big part of the movie, and which he became famous for using in Children of Men. The film opens in theaters on October 4.
