It’s been far too long since we’ve had any news about a Bill and Ted 3, but now Keanu Reeves seems a little despondent over the film’s future. “There’s darkness out there that’s keeping it from happening,” he tells MTV. “It’s a long story. There’s lots of subterfuge and conspiracy theories,” he sort of jokes. Yes, there’s a script, and he and co-star Alex Winter are onboard, and things should be moving forward. “It just … can’t,” Reeves says. “It’s that part of the story where it’s looking grim. It’s the dark period.” Sad.
