Rashida Jones and her producing partner Will McCormack have landed a pilot deal with NBC, according to Deadline. The show, a single-camera romantic comedy called A To Z, will follow “a relationship between a young couple, comprehensively, from meeting to breakup, over the course of a season,” and will be written by Cars 2 screenwriter Ben Queen. There’s no word yet on whether Jones and McCormack are planning to act in the series.
The duo already have another pilot deal over at Fox, while Jones also has plans to produce a show for the CW. Queen also has another pilot this season, an adaptation of the comic book Unthinkable, for Fox.
