Actor Edward Norton will host Saturday Night Live on October 26 for the first time, with musical guest Janelle Monae. Norton has dropped in on the show before, most recently during Salma Hayek’s opening monologue in 2003, but this is his first time hosting. Though primarily a dramatic actor, Norton has proved he’s got comedy chops; he’s cameoed in films The Dictator and The Invention of Lying, guested on TV shows Modern Family and the short-lived Stella, and most recently appeared in The Lonely Island’s elaborate Between Two Ferns crossover video for “Spring Break Anthem.â€
