AMC has renewed The Walking Dead for a fifth season, to the surprise of not a single person — the show is a crazy ratings fiesta, even if it occasionally leaves a lot to be desired story-wise. Scott Gimple will return as showrunner, and don’t forget that there’s also a spinoff/â€companion†series in the works. Maybe at some point the survivors can have an open-mike night at the prison or whatever, and someone can sing the song “Zombie,†and everyone can have a good, cathartic laugh.
