Amazon Snagged Gael García Bernal for One of Its Many Pilots

Now that their pilots have started rolling out, Amazon needs even more original shows to promote if they’re going to get people to shell out for Prime subscriptions. Next up: the Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman and Alex Timberswritten adaptation of Blair Tindall’s memoir Mozart In The Jungle, a comedy that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of classical musicians. Deadline reports Gael García Bernal has joined the cast as Gustavo, “an enfant terrible who’s utterly devoted to his art as a conductor — but also to his image.”
