Nate Bargatze was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Friday night to do standup, and before his set, Fallon announced that Bargatze has signed a development deal for a sitcom with NBC. (There hasn’t been an official announcement from NBC yet.) It’s unclear what, if any, involvement Fallon will have in Bargatze’s show, but he seems invested in the rising comic; Bargatze appeared on Fallon’s show back in June, and the two have been touring together recently on Fallon’s “Clean Cut Comedy Tourâ€.
