The SNL Cast on JFK Conspiracy Theories
Every year, the SNL crew assembles for the American Museum of Natural History Gala (boss Lorne Michaels is a gala chairman). This time around, because it took place the night before the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination, we asked a handful of the castmembers if they were conspiracy theorists. Seth Meyers was the only person who said he was not. “I like to just believe the reported story because it’s so much easier than having to do any digging as to whether or not it’s the truth,†he said. “I’ve never been a conspiracist. We’re here in this place of many taxidermied animals. What’s the weirdest animal you’ve ever seen in real life? "I had pet cockroaches when I was fifteen. They were called Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. They’re three inches long and they hiss when you touch them. I had a tank of about ten in my bedroom."
What do you do now if you see a cockroach in your apartment now? "I kill the fuck out of it. A New York roach is just garbage."

That would scare me, I think. "Jonah Hill was in the water with us, though, and I figured maybe they’d go for him, and I’d be okay. They’d be like, That dude looks big and tasty."
