Following yesterday’s New York Film Critics Circle Awards announcement, today the National Board of Review is offering their picks. Last year, like with the NYFCC, Zero Dark Thirty won the top prize. This year, to prove they have diverse tastes, Her was the bigger winner, winning both best film and best director for Spike Jonze. Other big winners include Nebraska, which was in the NBR’s top ten films and won for best actor (Bruce Dern) and best supporting actor (Will Forte).
