‘Parks and Rec,’ ‘Brooklyn Nine Nine,’ and ‘Girls’ Among This Year’s Golden Globe Nominations

The Golden Globe nominations were announced earlier this morning, bringing with them a few predictable choices and a few surprises. In the Best TV Comedy category, award show dominator Modern Family was joined by The Big Bang Theory, Girls, Parks and Recreation, and the freshman season of Andy Samberg’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, while the categories for TV comedy acting showed some love to Amy Poehler, Jason Bateman, Andy Samberg, and Lena Dunham for their performances this year. 2013 wasn’t the best year for comedy movies and that’s painfully obvious in these nominations, though Julia Louis-Dreyfus did get a nom for her performance in the romantic comedy Enough Said.
