After seven and a half years and tons of British jokes at his expense, John Oliver appeared in his final episode of The Daily Show last night, and Jon caught him off-guard with a surprise video retrospective and some thoughtful parting words. It isn’t often we get to see this kind of sincerity on The Daily Show, but John definitely deserves it after his extremely successful run as replacement host this summer.
