Deadline reports that Guy Ritchie is in talks to direct a reboot of King Arthur. This is not just any King Arthur reboot; apparently Warner Bros. is hoping for this to become a big tentpole for them, with six(!) movies planned. The studio has been trying to make Arthur happen for a while now, with Kit Harington and Joel Kinnaman once attached to play Arthur and Lancelot, respectively. Not much else is known about the project other than it will feature fantasy elements and, if Ritchie signs on, knights with anachronistically working-class accents.
