Hopefully America’s lust for police procedurals is just what Rainn Wilson needs to pull a reverse Leslie Nielsen. According to Deadline, Fox has ordered thirteen episodes of The Office star’s Backstrom. The crime drama will feature Wilson as an “offensive, irascible detective†working in Portland, which seems perfect since we already know he can act terrifyingly irrational and convincingly discharge a gun in the workplace.
