It took a few months, but Jason Statham has finally seen the light and will costar in the upcoming Paul Feig comedy Susan Cooper across from Melissa McCarthy. Because it’s the unlikeliest of buddies that feel the most right. Statham will portray a fellow spy who must team up with McCarthy’s titular secret agent. Some fine day, someone is going to team up with Melissa McCarthy’s character voluntarily and with great enthusiasm. Until then, bring on the exasperated eye rolls and slapstick gun play.
