During an appearance on Los Angeles’ KTLA this morning to plug his upcoming appearance in Robocop, anchor Sam Rubin asked Samuel L. Jackson about a Super Bowl ad he appeared in last weekend. Problem is, he didn’t appear in that ad. Laurence Fishburne did. “We don’t all look alike! We may be black and famous, but we don’t all look alike!†Jackson shot back. “There’s more than one black guy doing commercials.†Watch the awkward exchange below.
Yeah, that’s pretty embarrassing. Rubin later apologized.
