Throughout the shows in Milan this week, emotions ran high: A forlorn little girl sat alone in the front row during the Roberto Cavalli rehearsal, and a model cried to her friends after the Emporio Armani show. The Cut’s Alex Majoli was backstage to capture all of the drama, including small moments of levity, intoxicating hair-spray halos, Caravaggesque shadows, and joyful models chatting in ornately patterned robes.
