As expected, Lupita Nyong’o brought home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in 12 Years A Slave, though based on her live reaction, she is the only person on the planet who looked stunned to see it actually occur. Nyong’o hugged her brother Junior, her director Steve McQueen, her co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Brad Pitt, and, of course, Liza Minnelli on her elegantly flabbergasted way up to the the stage. Then, she gave a simply knockout acceptance speech a few moments later.
