There aren’t a lot of Judd Apatow regulars in the director’s next movie, Trainwreck. Tilda Swinton, Vanessa Bayer, Mike Birbiglia, Jon Glaser, Ezra Miller, Barkhad Abdi, and wrestler John Cena are all in negotiations to join the movie’s cast, Variety reports. Trainwreck was written by and stars Comedy Central’s Amy Schumer, with Bill Hader, Brie Larson, and Colin Quinn previously announced in supporting roles. Judd Apatow will direct the movie, which is the first of his films as a director that he didn’t write, although he helped Schumer with the script. The movie’s plotline is being kept under wraps.
Hader is the only actor in the ensemble so far who has done an Apatow movie so far, which is somewhat of a surprise as Apatow frequently reuses the same actors in his work. Schumer, Quinn, and Glaser recently guest starred on HBO’s Girls, which Apatow produces.
