Lifetime is making a Whitney Houston–Bobby Brown TV movie because apparently the entirety of Being Bobby Brown just wasn’t depressing enough. Directed by actress Angela Bassett, the film will likely tell the story of Brown and Houston’s whirlwind love affair and debilitating drug habit: “Their humanity and bond fascinates us all,†Bassett told Deadline. It’s scheduled to air in 2015.
