The Hollywood Reporter writes that Ike Barinholtz has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming Tina Fey and Amy Poehler comedy The Nest. Written by 30 Rock and SNL writer Paula Pell, the film stars Fey and Poehler as squabbling sisters who reconnect when they return to their childhood home before their parents sell it. As a way of coming to terms with this, they decide to hold one last party. Barinholtz will play their neighbor and Poehler’s love interest. He’ll likely be playing a weirdo, because it’s Barinholtz and that’s what he does. Even if he’s playing a normal person, it would be so weird to see him do that that he’ll end up being a weirdo anyway.
