Parenthood sensitive creature Jason Ritter will appear on Girls next season, TVLine reports. He’ll be on the sixth episode of season four, and his character is named Scott, though there are no details yet about what exactly his role will entail. Iowan, possibly one of Hannah’s classmates or professors? A new romantic foil for Marnie? Shoshanna’s life coach? A sober companion whom Jessa disastrously seduces? Maybe he’s someone from Ray’s past who brings up some long-dormant baggage? Or a social worker sent to check on Laird and Caroline’s baby? Options.
