A couple weeks ago, comedian Kurt Braunohler announced he would be jet skiing Chicago to New Orleans via the Mississippi to earn money to send animals to eat to a African families as part of his new Comedy Central web series Roustabout. It turns out his plan worked out, as he successfully completed his journey yesterday evening, arriving in New Orleans and doing a free show there. Braunohler left on Friday, May 30th, and was traveling for seven days before reaching New Orleans.
Roustabout will debut on Comedy Central’s YouTube channel once all the footage is put together. The series features comedians like Jon Daly, Kyle Kinane, Wyatt Cenac, and Kristen Schaal joining Braunohler along his journey. For the time being, you can head on over to the Indiegogo page to donate to Braunohler’s cause.
