Drummers can multitask. It’s germane to the instrument. Playing drums is like rubbing your belly and patting your head at the same time, but also you’re doing foot stuff. This is why when a Frisbee was thrown at Weezer’s drummer Patrick Wilson at a show Friday night, he caught it without missing a beat, literally. It’s pretty cool, but doesn’t explain why people think their relationship to a performing band involves Frisbee-throwing.
