The Fault in Our Stars’ dreamy pixie boyfriend Ansel Elgort made a YouTube account on Friday in order to upload a video of himself doing the ice-bucket challenge. In the challenge, celebrities pour a pail of ice water over themselves to raise money for ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. On the video he wrote, “I got nominated to do one of these challenges and at first I thought it was dumb, but then I realized that it was for a good cause.†So he got on the bandwagon along with Elizabeth Banks, Lance Bass, and Martha Stewart, and dumped a bucket of ice water over his head, danced around for a bit screaming “Oh my god!†and then donated $500 to the ALS Association. Charity!
