The American Horror Story: Freak Show casting announcements have been rolling in this week, and today we got news that Jyoti Amge, the “world’s smallest woman” according to the Guinness Book of World Records, will be joining the new season of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology. Murphy broke the news today on his Twitter, sharing a photo of Amge — who stands just over two feet tall owing to a growth anomaly called achondroplasia — being held by star Jessica Lange. It’s not the first TV role for the 20-year-old, who also starred in an episode of the Body Shock documentary series called “Two Foot High Teen,” as well as guesting on the Indian version of Big Brother. Earlier this week, it was announced that Singer Patti LaBelle had also joined the cast of the new season, which focuses on the last American Freak Show in Jupiter, Florida, in the 1950s.
