Cecily Strong wants you to know that she is totally cool with leaving the anchor desk of “Weekend Update†on SNL. Lorne Michaels announced on Thursday that writer Michael Che would be co-anchoring alongside Colin Jost during the upcoming season. Strong went on Instagram last night to post a photo of herself with a hot pad on her neck and her dog along with a note assuring everyone that this is a casting change that she’s happy about.
She wrote:
No word, though, on why her Twitter account was suspended, so you can feel free to make some wild speculations.
