Fox might be adding another single-cam comedy to its lineup with today’s news that they’ve given a put-pilot commitment to an untitled show starring John Stamos. Written by former Simpsons and Office writer Danny Chun and executive produced by Stamos and Dan Fogelman (The Neighbors), the series centers on Stamos playing a version of himself as “a charismatic longtime bachelor whose life is upended when he discovers he’s a father – and a grandfather.†In addition to the Fox pilot, Stamos will also star on an ABC drama called Members Only as well as an in-the-works Full House reboot, which is reportedly being considered by Netflix as a new show.
UPDATE: Variety reports that the untitled project has now been given a pilot order by Fox for the 2015-2016 season.
