Chris Rock’s Top Five was the talk of the Toronto International Film Festival, and now we get our first glimpse at why. The trailer gets at the film’s blending of Hollywood satire and meta-self-satire with broad and character-rich comedy. There are a lot of recognizable people being funny and/or charming, including Rosario Dawson, Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Gabrielle Union, Cedric the Entertainer, J.B. Smoove, and Leslie Jones. The film opens in limited release on December 5 and wide on December 12. Both of which are easily in the top-five weekends to open in December.
