After trying his hands at Hamlet and Thor, Kenneth Branagh is now bringing another classic fable to screen. His Cinderella has Lady Rose from Downton Abbey in the title role, with Robb Stark playing Prince Charming. In a sign of what the actual good parts are in this thing, he also got Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter to play the evil stepmother and fairy godmother, respectively. The mice made it in, too, but unfortunately, they don’t appear to sing.
