Actor Stephen Hawking, best known for his work on Futurama, The Simpsons, and Star Trek: The Next Generation, is publicly lobbying for a role in the Bond franchise. Hawking has spent the bulk of his career playing small character parts, but as he tells Wired, “My ideal role would be a baddie in a James Bond film. I think the wheelchair and the computer voice would fit the part.†When he’s not shamelessly seeking meatier acting parts, Hawking is a regular on the talk-show circuit and also dabbles in physics.
