Adam Pally was the latest guest-host of The Late Late Show on Friday, and even he wasn’t exactly sure why. After a man-on-the-street segment that failed to pick up any Happy Endings or Mindy Project fans, Pally and sidekick Ben Schwartz settled in for an hour of doing whatever the heck they pleased, confident in the knowledge that literally no one was watching. They chatted about Bangkok Dangerous, talked with NFL tight end Martellus Bennett about fonts, interviewed children’s-book author Beth Stern, and watched Eric Andre spin his chair around and around and around. As Pally himself put it, “CBS could not give a fart what I’m doing.â€
