As you might know, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, a.k.a. Game of Thrones’ Mountain, has muscles for days. What you might not know, however, is that Björnsson used those muscles last weekend to break a 1,000-year-old weight-lifting record. At the World’s Strongest Viking contest, the actor and human landform carried a 650-kilogram log on his back for five steps. According to a Strongman league promoter, Icelandic legend holds that the record was set a millennium ago when another juggernaut carried a comparable log three steps. Legend: 0, Mountain: 1.
