Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone’s upcoming film Michelle Darnell just added a superstar to its cast. Variety reports that Peter Dinklage has been cast in the movie, which is based on one of McCarthy’s original characters from The Groundlings and centers on “a titan of industry who is sent to prison after she’s caught for insider trading. When she emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart, not everyone she screwed over is so quick to forgive and forget.†Dinklage will play the antagonist in the film, though details on his role have not been announced. Universal reportedly landed on Dinklage after considering Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, and Oprah Winfrey for the role. The film is slated to premiere on April 8, 2016.
