Twin Peaks premiered 25 years ago today, and the cast just won’t let you forget it. Recently, news broke that David Lynch has exited the show’s planned third season, leaving Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival somewhat in limbo. Now some of the show’s cast members — including Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbrook, Mädchen Amick, and more — have put together a sweet tribute to their beloved director to remind us (but mostly Showtime) why the show just can’t go on without him. Also, the cast wants to make sure Showtime doesn’t call it Twin Peaks 2: Triplet Peaks because that would be dumb.
