Fox knew that it couldn’t start off its upfront presentation Monday at the Hotel Beacon without giving Empire fans something to look forward to: Co-chair Dana Walden announced that the second season would have plenty of celebrity appearances including Lenny Kravitz (a Lee Daniels favorite who was in both Precious and The Butler), Alicia Keys, and Chris Rock. Time to pop that Empire Champagne.
