If you are one of those people who swears they can tell if they’re going to love or hate a film within the first few minutes, then Sony has a treat for you: the first eight minutes of Cameron Crowe’s Aloha (out this weekend)! It’s a solid sneak peek; it introduces all of the celebs and their characters, as well as the sexual tension and love-triangle drama that punctuates the movie. Most important, it’ll probably give you an indication as to whether this is or isn’t Crowe’s best fare. My only main quibble at the moment: Everyone, please stop ignoring Emma Stone’s character.
