Hootie and the Blowfish came back home Thursday night, performing “Hold My Hand†on The Late Show — over 20 years since their first TV appearance on that very stage. The story goes that David Letterman got his producers to book them after hearing them on the radio back in 1994. He introduced them by saying, “If you don’t have this album, there’s something wrong with you.†And all these years later, he is still just so dang delighted.
