Syfy has picked up The Magicians for a 12-episode series order, the network announced Monday. Based on Lev Grossman’s acclaimed trilogy about a group of grad students who study magic, it’ll star Jason Ralph as Quentin Coldwater and begins shooting this July. So if you’ve been missing Harry Potter in your life, this should finally fill that void until Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
