King of the Hill and The Office producer Greg Daniels has a new show in the works at HBO. According to USA Today, Daniels is currently developing an untitled show for the pay-network that’s described as “about romance and the ‘minutiae of daily existence in a sci-f afterlife.’†No other details on the project have been revealed, but considering the success of The Office, Daniels is the best guy in the industry to turn the “minutiae of daily existence†into entertaining television. The project joins other comedies in development including pilots from Sarah Silverman, Whitney Cummings, and Issa Rae.
