Justin Lin’s upcoming Star Trek movie, the third (and not the last) in the new run, will be called Star Trek Beyond. The director tweeted the title in hashtag form Monday, accompanied by a pic of a retro-looking Starfleet badge. “Let the next Starfleet voyage begin!†he wrote, before adding a “Live Long and Prosper†shout-out for the late Leonard Nimoy and his legendary Spock character. Although plot details for this installment are still under wraps, there’s a strong possibility — given the title — it could be about a weird quest for coffee mugs. The film, which has begun production in Vancouver, is slated to hit theaters next July.
