What if Frances Ha grew up? Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig team up again with Mistress America, Baumbach’s second movie of 2015. Gerwig plays Brooke, a 30-something woman living in New York who befriends Tracy, a young college freshman (played by Lola Kirke) who’s new to the city. Naturally, Tracy is dazzled by Gerwig’s cool New York ways, like how she has her own apartment and is also an autodidact. Hooray for hapless youth!
