Once again, everyone is mad at Oscar Isaac, and this time, it has nothing to do with folk music or heating oil. The first trailer for David Simon’s HBO mini-series Show Me a Hero is here, and it stars Isaac in the true story of a 1980s mayor whose efforts to integrate his city outrage his white constituents. Will this show do for affordable housing what The Wire did for crime, drugs, policing, manufacturing, politics, education, and journalism? It’s hard to say, but get ready to have some really exhausting conversations at parties.
