Watch Thom Yorke Play ‘High and Dry’ With the Headless Chickens Before His Radiohead Days

A very cool, very rare video of what appears to be baby Thom Yorke performing “High and Dry” with his pre-Radiohead, Exeter University band Headless Chickens has surfaced via Reddit. Best estimates peg the previously unseen footage at around 1989, six years before Yorke would release the song with Radiohead, which made the track famous. This version features a gnarly Yorke guitar solo, a disheveled (but perhaps less grumpy) Jack White look-alike on drums, and a much faster tempo. Bask in the nostalgia.
