The Daily Show’s Wyatt Cenac, SNL’s Ana Gasteyer, and The Office’s Oscar Nunez just landed new starring TV roles. The Wrap reports that the three have signed on to star in a new TBS pilot called The Group, which will center on a support group of people who claim they were abducted by aliens as they are featured in a “snarky feature piece by skeptical journalist Wyatt Jones (Cenac). The more he digs into the oddballs’ claims, however, the more confused, intrigued and seduced he becomes.†Conan O’Brien, Greg Daniels, and Jeff Ross will co-executive produce through O’Brien’s production company Conaco, and Alice Wetterlund, Luka Jones, Tracee Chimo, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Marylouise Burke will round out the cast.
