Last night’s Key & Peele featured a pitch-perfect Outkast sketch that took a crack at explaining why new jams haven’t exactly been pouring through the duo’s old musical floodgates. Things get very weird very quickly, thanks to a vase, a magic pinwheel, and creative differences. It’s like watching an embarrassed teen talk to his embarrassing mom. Or a stoic badass to an arty maestro. Or I guess it’s kind of like watching … Big Boi talk to post–Love Below André 3000. In other words: comedic gold.
