After nearly a decade, Jason Bourne is finally returning to the screen. Frank Marshall, a producer on the still-untitled fifth Bourne installment, made this fact feel official after he tweeted a picture of the franchise’s main star, Matt Damon, on set on Tuesday. “First day of principal photography complete and happy to report, BOURNE is back!†he wrote (hashtagging Bourne 2016 — because super American Jason Bourne, like every other sentient being who has had a cultural impact in the last 20 years, has decided to vie for the White House that’s when the movie’s scheduled to premiere). In the pic, Damon is as ripped and frown-y as ever, and looks like he has been putting away a good amount of chicken and cod. He would make the Rock proud — but has he saved any puppies lately?
