Comedian Nathan Fielder is promoting the third season of his show, Nathan for You, and you may have noticed that his recent ad campaign bears a remarkable resemblance to The Blacklist’s ad campaign from last year, which put James Spader on the cover of a number of magazines. But, you know, a show can have a similar idea to another show a year later, and it doesn’t have to be plagiarism. Also, is a ripoff of a ripoff really a ripoff? (Please don’t tell NBC.)
